I'm going to be sanctioning a convention in the near future, and while I plan on picking a few adventures that DMs can run (probably the Cormyr adventures because that's my local region and the convention special in Zhentarim), and the Home (Other) option to cover my bases, I'd also like to give DMs the opportunity to run one of the adventures I didn't pick. Of course, since the DMs aren't recruited yet, I don't know what they'll want. Should I wait to sanction until I know more about the DM situation? (I want to sanction early to get the event on the calendar in the hopes of getting more interest in the convention.) |

Also, do a trial run for sanctioning the event and check how many modules it will allow you to select. I'm not sure what the limits are, but you might be able to select most, if not all, of the modules which makes it a moot problem. Don't worry about getting it up on the calender. There are lots of players who log into their accounts rarely, if ever, and more who don't really use the calender to look for games. If you want to get the word out, post a little flier or note in a half dozen local game stores. It will get you a much better response. |
