| #1RakorAug 28, 2008 16:05:08 | Thanks to the merger of DCI and RPGA #s I am now an RPGA member as well as a DCI member. I've been meaning to do this for a while, I just found out about this this morning and took the test this afternoon. Hooray for being a Herald. I'd like to sanction my home game and I've entered the event the problem I have is that none of my players are members. I have a pile of membership cards but apparently they can no longer be used because they are an 8 digit code. I'd planned to get the player's to fill everything out before the game started and then play. Will it be possible to play a sanctioned event tonight? Is there a way to either sign them up or get some kind of temp number? Thanks for any help. |

You can go ahead and play tonight, but you won't be able to report until you get them numbers. I'd just go ahead and play, get everyone to fill out the tracking form and leave their membership numbers blank. Then when you receive new forms (e-mail dci@wizards.com for blank forms), finish filling out the tracker and submit the event. ![]() It means leaving your paperwork hanging for a week or so, but it beats not playing. ![]() |
| #3RakorAug 28, 2008 16:12:11 | Thanks Wolfstar! (I really like the VCL system, you guys are awesome) I was going to play tonight anyways but I wasn't sure how much time I had to report the event. The RPGA website seems to imply they want it done fairly quickly. How do I go about getting new registration stuff? |
| #4WolfStar76Aug 28, 2008 16:14:27 | Thanks Wolfstar! (I really like the VCL system, you guys are awesome) The previous policy was that if you didn't report your event within 8 days you couldn't order any new events until you'd resolved the "overdue" event(s). I don't know what, if any, automated checks/penalties are in place with the DCI system How do I go about getting new registration stuff? New registrations stuff? Like membership cards?
