| #1Kensan_OniAug 31, 2008 20:38:43 | Hi! I'm currently trying to enter an event into the system, that I ran successfully. However, I have a new player, who now has to send in his card. Because he isn't in the system, it doesn't look like I can report the event, because we were playing with a minimal group. How can I enter the event into the system to make sure the players get their credit for the event? |

If it's a 10 digit number, when you type in that player's number the system will prompt you to enter their First and Last name, then you're up and running. ![]() |

Does that mean that the event that I ran last night will be no good? It was ALL new RPGA players, and the cards I was given ALL have 9 digits! Does that mean I can't just add the "1" in front of it? |

Numbers that were in the system with 9 digits were converted, but "unused" cards of less than 10 digits can't be entered anymore I'm afraid. The event itself will remain valid, however you're going to need to order new cards and get those assigned to your players before you can enter your reporting. |
| #5Kensan_OniSep 01, 2008 10:42:55 | Okay, so I have new cards on the way I think (As soon as dci@wizards.com repsonds to me), but I thought I had to update the information in 8 days. Is that correct? |
| #6WolfStar76Sep 01, 2008 13:13:34 | Okay, so I have new cards on the way I think (As soon as dci@wizards.com repsonds to me), but I thought I had to update the information in 8 days. Is that correct? It used to be that if you didn't report a module within 8 days you couldn't order new modules. I've heard someone else suggest that the new system won't let you "auto-report" an overdue event, and that you'd have to contact Wizards to get it reported (being as this is the DCI Tournament database, it's likely so they can find out what the holdup is). I just reported something that was about two weeks overdue, however, and haven't had any adverse effects for it. Since there's no ordering delay now (you can order something the same day you're going to play it), you could also just cancel this instance of the event, and then report it later when you get all the forms lined up. ![]() |

| #8zombiegleemaxSep 03, 2008 22:01:49 | I have the same problem with two recent home games. 2 players have valid cards, my long time gamer, been with the RPGA since we picked up d20 Modern, and my wife, who got the last of my 10-digit cards. The other two however, filled out and sent in cards with 8 digits. Cause of this, I can't report the two events I have now (we had a good week), and customer service has been very slow. I do imagine they have a glut of new member issues post GenCon and PAX, but still, these things have time limits, and I'm going into Basic and MOS training later this month. I mailed in the reporting forms, with notes explaining that the 2 players needed new cards, and I've been dealing with customer service, but this is taking forever. There needs to be a faster way to resolve these issues. ![]() |

Have them log in and check their DCI number on the card listed after login in. They have to add a 1 in front of the 8 digit number on the sign in or just add 100000000 to their number. Mine is a 8 digit card and after checking the card after signing in I found out my new 10 digit number was my old one with 71 in front of it. I've had 3 sessions reported with my new number, so this should work for them. https://membership.wizards.com/login.aspx?dcionly=true&ReturnURL=https%3a%2f%2fwebapp.wizards.com%2flogin.aspx%3ftarget%3dpersonal&token=6f46fd67-f16e-4dc3-aa79-13bd4ca064b1 |
| #10pedrSep 04, 2008 5:49:09 | Sorry, but the system will not accept new memberships with less-than-ten-digit numbers. At all, as explained up-thread. Best advice would be to email dci@wizards.com - they are reportedly reasonably quick at turning round requests for membership cards and should send you a pack of new cards within about a week, so you can then give the new cards to your players and report the event using those new numbers. |
