| #2telvin3dAug 06, 2009 15:16:14 | Neat Any word on when we will be seeing these or the previous 3 cards released as a general PDF? |
| #3WolfStar76Aug 06, 2009 15:25:36 | Officially, no. I suspect the 3 DDXP cards being turned into PDF is waiting on Chris having time. These are supposed to be rolled into a PDF around the end of the year (allegedly/so far as I can guesstimate). |
| #4pedrAug 06, 2009 16:55:27 | In your next 'State of the Forums' communication (or over drinks in Indy!!) could you perhaps ask Chris about the potential problem that the vast majority of RPGA players have currently had no access to the next Quest card, and by the rules we ought to have it before playing MINI1-1 (presuming that there's a task in MINI1-1) if we want to play the Quest with the first character we play through the MINIs with. In other words - the sooner it arrives, the better!! |

I'll mention it - however I've also been told that the Quest hooks will be in mods OUTSIDE the MINI series. ![]() |
| #622_Over_7Aug 06, 2009 20:51:52 | Wait - so the cards distributed from Origins will not be available in card form anymore because we've already moved on to these new ones? |
| #7WolfStar76Aug 06, 2009 20:59:53 | Wait - so the cards distributed from Origins will not be available in card form anymore because we've already moved on to these new ones? To the best of my knowledge (which, sadly, isn't perfect) the Origins cards AND these new cards will be available. So you'll have a shot at 2009 Promo cards 4 - 9. I just wanted to show off what's going to be new at GenCon. Would it help if I (re)posted the Origins cards as well? I have scans of them. |
| #8telvin3dAug 06, 2009 21:07:03 | Also, at some point in the near-ish future the RPGA will release the last set (and eventually this set) as a pdf for everyone. |
| #922_Over_7Aug 06, 2009 21:08:17 | Gotcha covered: http://forums.gleemax.com/showpost.php?p=18920608&postcount=6 Sure, the PDFs come out, but I prefer the cards if I can get them. |
| #10telvin3dAug 06, 2009 21:54:37 | Curious. I've seen pictures of cads #4-9 now but I've never seen #1-3 of the current set. |
| #11WolfStar76Aug 06, 2009 22:26:32 | Curious. I've seen pictures of cads #4-9 now but I've never seen #1-3 of the current set. I posted them at DDXP, but I'll see if I can find the images and re-post. ![]() [EDIT] Found 'em! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
| #12tancreadAug 07, 2009 19:35:00 | Thanks for the heads up on the new cards, the quest card is the main one I am after, but it is nice to see the others. |
| #13KarmaInfernoAug 07, 2009 22:24:48 | They appear to be at multiple conventions, not just Gen Con. Saw the Kenku card at ConnectiCon last week. -karma |
| #14AlphastreamAug 08, 2009 2:35:08 | A couple of clarifications: Any convention can order the convention reward pack, which contains reward cards. The admin in charge has stated that there will be multiple opportunities to complete the Quest Award for the MINI series. You don't have to worry about playing MINI1-1 without a quest card as there will be other chances. Each major con, such as Origins, Gen Con, D&D XP, has new/different cards than the previous convention. The indications are that the next RPGA card download will contain all the cards, not just the non-promo cards. |
| #15dreamdarwinOct 10, 2009 15:31:02 | Any updates on these cards and their ETA for downloads? |
