| #1anubis_reynardMay 26, 2009 21:40:51 | Just last weekend I joined a LFR game at a con, got a RPGA number, and played a few moduels. I was told to go online and register my character within a few days. How do I do this? I have a Gnoll ritualist summoner from the Dalelands awaiting registration. |

(or maybe I can get Wolfstar to move it over there) I haven't signed anyoen up recently since the merge and have been a member for a long time, so i don't know how things have changed myself. ![]() |

If this is the case, you can either request a new card (you'd probably want to go with a DCI card for the activation info) from an event organizer, or you can contact WotC's customer service with the details. They may be able to take care of it, but most likely, they will direct you to just get a new card. 3) If you got an RPGA card with a number that is 10 digits long, you have to wait until the event organizer mails the sign up information to WotC, they get it entered into the system, then contact you with your password. If this is taking too long, you can always try to contact WotC's customer service, and they may be able to expedite the process. Some event organizers do not collect or neglect to send the sign up information in, so contacting customer service may be a good idea anyway. if the event organizer did not collect the sign up info (pretty much everything but the actual card), you could always mail it in yourself. Now, the part that makes this relevant to LFR: Registering your character in the online database is nice, but not strictly necessary, as long you keep very good paper records of your xp, gold, rewards, character number for different characters and such. The character tracking database is notoriously inaccurate, and, in my opinion, beyond repair at this point (especially with the splitting of the Private Play/ WPN Event databases). if it comes down to a disagreement between your paper records and the character tracker, your paper records are assumed to be correct. Right now the main benefit of registering your character in the database is making it easier for organizers to report events. I hope this information helps. |

You can track or events and other such. I'm a meticulous paper-tracker, but i still enjoy the verification available with the the online system. Without the scratch-off activation code..well, I got nothing. I'm just dumb :-( |
