As far as a possible living force who knows though. it really all depends on the demand by these other adventures and what their vision is of future capaigns. |

At DDXP Chris hinted there was a possibility of a Living Star Wars campaign if play numbers remained strong in the RPGA (IE for Dawn of Defiance). There wasn't any new news at GenCon as Chris reported that it isn't really until post-GenCon that the RPGA can turn its focus to new campaigns and the like. So, there wasn't anything new announced (campaign-wise) for next year yet, but with DDXP fast approaching (February will be here before we know it) I wouldn't be surprised if the next campaign(s) for D&D and Star Wars are decided and announced in the next couple months. |

I imagine Lucasfilm would be happier licensing a two-year fixed-term campaign (Living Force was a fixed five-year campaign) and level-bumps could fit the 'film' thing quite well - you could have a trilogy of adventures at each level bump (or two trilogies, or whatnot) and then bump the meta-plot along as well as bumping characters' levels for the next set of modules. |

Chris told us that there would be an Eberron D&D Campaign model based in Khorvaire at DDXP08. However, plans change, and it actually WOULD makes some sense to do a Campaign-style Star Wars game when you account for licensing. |

I think that current RPGA management is more amenable to the idea than previous management was. But, ultimately, it depends on how much WotC itself wants to support the Star Wars RPG. If they want to put a push behind it, they'll invest the resources behind it. If sales of the SW books aren't so hot, odds are they won't want to invest behind it. Keep in mind that, compared to any other RPGA campaign, Star Wars is a big pain to adminster, because everything -- every module, every update to the character creation guide, even logsheets -- has to go through Lucasfilm Licensing for approval. |
