| #1wildknivesNov 30, 2009 7:42:12 | Ok I have searched the FAQs and still I dont get it can you help? I wanted to join RPGA to play LFR online with others. I can not get to a conn and the closest group is farther than I want to travel right now. I just needed a players number. So I emailed and called WoTC and they gave me a judges DCI number. How do I get over to the players area? Thanks in advance. Tery |

There are, however one or two groups that play online that are self-organized. The largest and most active group that I'm aware of can be found here: games.groups.yahoo.com/group/RPGA_Group/... . They play online using the Fantasy Grounds II software available for purchase from www.fantasygrounds.com. Hope that helps get you pointed in the right direction, they're a pretty friendly group (I follow their messages) and are pretty happy to help new players get up and running. |

If you want to play LFR, find a group and start playing. Give them your number. Done. Or, if you have no DCI/RPGA number at all, find a group and start playing. They will give you a number. Done. Easy. |

I was under assumtion that there was a player area that I needed to sign in on...guess not. Nope. It's a good idea to sign in and get your personal information updated on the RPGA database (so that they've got the right info for you for the occasional goodies that they might send out), but, otherwise, there isn't much reason to sign into the site unless you're an event organizer / DM. |
