| #1mcphja2Sep 26, 2008 14:28:11 | Hi, I was wanting to get into D&D and start playing in RPGA events. I'm not totally new to RPGs (I used to play RuneQuest semi-regularly), but I don't want to be annoying other participants with my noobishness. Are there any events appropriate for someone such as myself? Thanks |

You just missed the first weeks, but there should be additional sessions available. The other adventure, which is an introduction to one of the big "shared world" campaigns, is Weekend in the Realms, which is scheduled to occur on October 24-26. Depending on your location in the world, you should have a good chance of finding sessions being held close to you. This is a 3 round module, but each round is independent, so you can play 1, 2 or all 3 rounds. It is designed for4-6 characters of 1st-4th level, built using the LFR appendix of the RPGA Character Creation Guide. Note that LFR rules do require a new character to start at 1st level, 0 XP, and only 100 gp for initial purchases; with full creation rules in the RPGA CCG. The modules qualify as LFR modules for character advancement and tracking; the public sites should have RPGA/DCI membership cards available to allow joining the RPGA at the time. Hope this helps! |
