I don't know that you'll find just any D&D vet here, but there is an RPGA calendar here (http://events.wizards.com/rpgaweb/external/calendar.asp) that can show you what game stores and other public games might be available in your area. Set your location to Florida, US and click "set filter" and you'll see quite a few games in your area. Right now RPGA games are in the process of transitioning from 3.5 Edition to the August releast of 4th Edition games, keep that in mind if you look for games off that calendar. Hope you find what you're looking for!

You can find them here: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/FRAGRPGA/ They usually hold a gameday on the third Sunday of every month at SciFi City. Look for it on Warhorn. If you don't mind driving a little, there are also groups in Tampa, Melbourne and Gainseville that hold regular gamedays.
