The older RPGA General Rules say both is not allowed. The newer RPGA Character Creation Guide 1.7 says this is allowed as long as the player uses a different character, and that a GM is allowed to play in an adventure they previously ran. |

Portions of the General Rules have been made obsolete by the CCG. There has been no explicit statement of this; rather it must be the case or the CCG makes no sense. David |

I don't believe that it's allowed in the older 3.5 campaigns (which retire after tomorrow, anyway, so it'll be a moot point in 36 hours or so). The General Rules are in dire need of revision / updating; large portions of them haven't been touched by HQ in years. In short: yes, replay (and even playing of an adventure that you've previously DMed) is allowed in any 4E RPGA adventure. |
