Also... how do you account for levels? When looking at the list of adventures to choose from how do you know if it accomodates the appropriate levels of your party(ies)? |

When they play the next Delve, while they *could* play a version of that same character (perhaps at a different level), there's no reason they have to, and there's no "character history". A Living campaign allows the player's character to gain XP and treasure, and advance in level through play. There are dozens of adventures available, some of them for low-level characters, some of them for higher-level characters. In Living Forgotten Realms (the RPGA's only current Living campaign), all characters must start at 1st level. If you want to play an LFR adventure for higher-level characters, you have to advance your character, through play of other LFR modules, until you reach the appropriate level. Note that you can't play your LFR character in a Delve, or a Delve character in an LFR adventure. The descriptions of LFR adventures (click on the adventure name when you're in the event ordering system) will tell you the appropriate character levels for that adventure. Currently, LFR modules (except for the "adapted" modules) are for one of three "bands" of character levels: - Levels 1-4 - Levels 4-7 - Levels 7-10 The short descriptions of the Delve adventures unfortunately don't seem to indicate what levels they're for. I'm not terribly familiar with how Delves work, but I believe that, when you order a Delve, the info on character level should be in it. Hope this helps! |
