Hi I was wondering if anyone else was having trouble ordering modules with the new system?

I go through all the steps and submit the game day but never get an email nor have the event show up for me,

I am having the same issues. I ordered the adaption of the Ogre King module for homeplay, and got to the end where the site displayed I should receive an email soon. Alas, I never got one. :-(

I also have that problem and have read from other posts that it appears that the home game setup is different than it used to be. Now the system works if you order it as a gameday so you can try that. Supposedly from other posts the terminology of Gameday/retail/home is different now or at least in the system that they have set up.

More than likely something will come out shortly to explain everything and how to go about doing it. I would just set up a gameday and go from there.

I tried setting it up as a gameday and even as a retail one without any luck,

I cannot even set up an event...I know I must be missing something. Where's the link?

This will be my first LFR DM experience.
I was involved in LG and Xendrik before. So I'm figuring there's an obvious step I'm missing.

Any help welcome!

Thanks.

Don't know if this makes a difference, but my last LG event was cancelled. For some reason, it still shows up under reporting as an event to report or cancel. I've tried canceling and it still comes up as please report or cancel.

I can't provide an answer to the questions about events not showing up after you order them, as when I do it, it works - or at least did two days ago when I last tried. Sorry. Some have reported that logging out and logging in again helps, but beyond that (and the very obvious 'make sure you're clicking the Dungeons and Dragons logo' advice) I can't suggest anything except bugging customer services.

As to cancelling events, the last time I logged in I could cancel events (past or future) using the tick-box below the event on the 'My Events' listing. So to do that, go to 'My Events', click 'Dungeons and Dragons', click 'Search' and then look to see if there's a grey bar with a 'Cancel this Event' or 'This event did not occur' tick-box, tick it, click 'Process changes' or somesuch at the top of the list, click that button again, and the status of the event should change.

To set up events, click the 'Event Sanctioning' link on the right-hand side. If it's not there, you probably need to check that your RPGA GM level status is still working, though it might be connected to the late event (I doubt that, though!)

Exactly the same problem here. I presume, if the system lets me get to "Submit", then tells me it has been submitted, that I have followed the correct steps. Still, no email and nothing new showing under My Events. I've tried eight times now, with different dates, different mods, tried Retail and Game Day, and the results are exactly the same... submits successfully, then vanishes into the aether. This is not a user error.

Interestingly, my play history is intact, and an event I scheduled before the site improvements showed up under My Events just fine, and I was able to report results perfectly (even received an email confirming that the event was reported), all of which runs contrary to the other issues I've read about.

I submitted a ticket to Customer Service and was told to contact dci@wizards.com. I've done so, and am eagerly awaiting a response, and will post here when I get one. May I recommend that you do so as well? Perhaps we can get this fixed faster if they have multiple incidents to review.

I'm having the same thing happen... I've emailed CS but haven't heard back from them as of yet.

If/when you find out how to get this fixed (if it's something we can do on our end) or whom to contact to get it fixed for us, please share,

thanks

Now that we're merged with the DCI database it appears that most "database" type issues (reporting, getting new numbers, etc) should be e-mailed to dci@wizards.com.

Good news here! Although I still haven't heard back from dci@wizards.com I tried again last night, and I got the confirmation email right away, although it required a re-log to show up in My Events. Perhaps something has been fixed on the back end?

I just tried without luck.

I just received a response from dci@wizards.com (excellent turnaround time, I might add):

"The reason why this was failing was because we did not have a Venue location linked to your RPGA number."

This would appear to be an artifact of the RPGA/DCI mashup, since we never did need a Venue linked to our RPGA numbers before, and I haven't the first clue how we could do that from our end, anyway.

They were able to get me working because I sent the address/contact information for the event location, which they somehow linked to my membersip info.

Hope this helps!

I'd re-contact them. Turnaround time, from what I've heard, is usually 24-48 hours. However, that doesn't mean things don't still get occasionally lost.
