Problems with Event Sanctioning?

Hello,

I've been sanctioning events now for a couple of years and today when I logged in to sanction some events for the local college group I see this when I click on the "Dungeons and Dragons Wizards Play Network" Icon:

"There is a problem with your request. Most likely you are not a coordinator for this brand or you have no public venues on file. Please contact your WPN representative for assistance."

I've never seen this before... Is anyone else seeing this?

I believe that "Wizards Play Network" is for public events, like public game days and conventions. To run an event under WPN, you do need to get set up as a WPN co-ordinator, and to have your venue registered.

Try the other D&D icon in the event sanctioning menu, which'll let you set up a private event, if that's appropriate for your group. A private event doesn't require any of that WPN stuff.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm currently a core level WPN organizer, and I've got no problems with my reporting history (according to my latest email status report).

I should be able to schedule public events, which is what I'm trying to do now.

I sponsor a game club at the university where I teach and we're starting to play again a week from Friday. Although I know I can schedule it as a private event, I prefer to use the WPN public events because I already have a profile set up for the local college group that plays here at the university.

What I'm really wanting to figure out is if it's a system problem or an account problem.

Anyone else having problems scheduling public WPN D&D events?
