Public Event Type Question

So when I go into the public D&D sanctioning screen I get to the Event Type drop down menu and my choices are:

D&D Delve Night - APR - Download
D&D Delve Night June 09
D&D Game Day May 09
D&D WPN (Public Event)

Ofcourse I'm confused. D&D Delve I know what that is even though I haven't sanctioned one. These don't count towards DM rewards points right? Also the Delve options aren't listed in the Private side so I'm guessing you cannot host one from home right? Then I also noticed I see Apr, I see June but where is May Delve stuff?

Next is what is the differance between a D&D Game Day and a WPN (Public Event)? If I was going to run AKAN 1-1 at a game store which would I select? If I was going to run the MM2 release event at a game store which would I select?

Thx Again

Not 100% sure on this, but I believe they do.

Right, sanctioned delves need to be run in a public location.

The May delve needed to be sanctioned in April. The June delve needs to be sanctioned in May. That's why May isn't up there anymore - not sure what April's still doing there, probably just a glitch.

The MM2 release event is the D&D Game Day May 09. That's the only event you can sanction with that option. All other public events (what used to be defined as conventions, game days, and retail events) fall under D&D WPN (Public Event). You running an LFR adventure at your store would be that last one.

That is the download of the module for April not the order for the April Delve. We will see the May Delve for download only soon as well.

Actually, that is the order for sanctioning of the April D&D Dungeon Delve with a downloaded copy of the module, instead of a hardcopy version. It should be showing up on the calendar just like the two-month-previous hardcopy sanctioned event would.

I know that it shows up in my Event Reporting link just like any other ordered module does...

So, during a month:
You can order the downloadable version of that month's Delve
You can order the hardcopy version of the Delve for two months out
You can, currently, order the D&D MM2 Game Day for May 23rd only.
And, last but not least under WPN D&D, you can order a public event, which encompasses any "open" LFR or "other" D&D campaign.

On the other side of the coin, you can order a private event for LFR or many other D&D events, but not Delves or Game Days.
