In an effort to maximize my players benefit in regards to XP, I have been considering running the H1-H3 Shadowfell chain between the regional LFR adventures selected for the given tiers. What I want to know is:
1) Is this something that can be done with DME & still be sanctioned as an LFR event... I had assumed "yes" because there have been published FR conversions for H1 & H2, that I know of for sure.

2)If this does fall within a LFR sanction privileges... would I need to sanction them as MYRE events?

3)Does anyone know of an FR convresion for H3? (I would like this no matter what)

4)If there is anything else that I should know/consider, please feel free to let me know.

There have been several posts in the LFR forums over the past few months from the global admins, which have indicated that you can run published, non-LFR adventures (such as the H series, or Dungeon adventures) as LFR adventures, using the MYRE framework.  (Note that this does *not* fall under "DM Empowerment", but that's a matter of semantics.)

I had assumed "yes" because there have been published FR conversions for H1 & H2, that I know of for sure.

Published by whom?  RPGA has never created official "conversions" of any of the H/P/E modules for LFR.

Also, note that, under the rules of MYRE, you can only run an MYRE which you, yourself have written (or co-written).  So, using someone else's (unofficial) conversion notes for H1 or H2 would be against the spirit of what the MYRE system is about.

2)If this does fall within a LFR sanction privileges... would I need to sanction them as MYRE events?

Yes, you would have to do it as MYRE adventures.  Given the length of those H adventures, you would be looking at doing multiple sessions of MYRE 1-1 to cover H1, and you need to work the XP and treasure awards from the module so they conform to LFR standards.

See above.

Hope this helps!

The FR conversions were in:
Dungeon #155 page #4 for "Keep on the Shadowfell"

and

Dungeon #156 page #106 for "Thunderspire Labyrinth"

With both being in a WotC publication,  I would have thought they were considered "official".

***As for adjusting the rewards and XP- I am going to be doing a more thorough read through of H1 and and also the LFR reward guidelines to try making compatible changes. If anyone can think of specific things that I should take into consideration in this area; please feel free to say so.

Those simply show how to place those adventures in the Realms.  They do *not* make them official LFR modules.  That's not to say that you can't use those adaptation guides for running H1 and H2 as MYRE adventures, but the adaptation guides, in and of themselves, do not make H1 and H2 into LFR adventures.

What I would highly suggest is ordering MYRE 1-1 (you can then cancel the "event").   That will be the best source for you to see what you're allowed to do, from the standpoint of awarding XP, GP, and magic items.

What you'll need to do is divide H1 into a series of one-round MYRE 1-1 "adventures", each of which having its own XP and treasure awards.  Fundamentally, you can't use MYRE to circumvent the standard limits on XP and GP in an LFR module.

The biggest "change" you're likely to need to make will be in treasure.   In a MYRE adventure, the only magic treasure you can award (i.e., the only treasure bundle) is "any magic item of your level or less from any Players Handbook".
