I successfully completed a Herald examination and started a private D&D group of 6 on the MINI1-1 Stirring the Embers adventure last Friday. I had scheduled the game on Thursday, and now I wanted to submit my report for that game. The game went well, but the adventure is designed to be completed in about two gaming-sessions, and I suspect that our group will probably require at least 3 sessions to get through. Many of them are brand new to D&D in general, so there is a lot of time spent with rules discussion and such. When I went to report my game, I noticed that they required me to fill in the Adventure Questions/Answer, none of which I can answer until the adventure is done. How should I handle this? What I plan to do is to continue to scheduled MINI 1-1 events week after week until its done. Then, once the adventure is done and I have the adventure answers, I will complete the report for each event. Is this the accepted way of doing this, or am I missing something? Thanks in advance! ![]() |

I guess I got confused because the DM rewards program states that DMs get 1 point per session, but the only way to get a point is to submit a report. If the adventure takes 3 weeks/sessions, I figured that would be a point each week, and so 3 reports. I guess its actually 1 point per completed adventure regardless of how many sessions it takes. Thanks for clearing that up ![]() |

| #6pedrApr 20, 2010 17:17:45 | There is a slight problem with adventures which take more than one meeting to complete interacting with the event sanctioning/reporting system. I do not believe that the WPN are currently monitoring whether 'private' games are delinquent, but according to the rules you should report an 'event' within eight days of the date it was supposed to 'occur', and I've been slightly lazy in getting all of my D&D Encounters reports in on time and have been receiving emails seven days after the event reminding me that I've not reported them. You may find that you will have to cancel an event and re-create a second event with the same scenario once you've completed it and are ready to report. I don't believe that will cause any problems with WotC, particularly if this is organised as a private game. |
