Do you give out treasure during the adventure? Or do you wait until the end to present what the players can obtain?

For me, in normal D&D games, they take the treasure as they find it. I want to make sure I'm doing things right.

For example I am running an adventure that says in room 4 you find this sword +1 of whatever. At the end of the module I see that it is one of the five treasure parcels PCs can choose from and it notes it was found in room 4 (and multiple players can choose it)

Do I give it out to the PCs when they find it in Room 4 or do they wait until the end?

From my understanding, if they find it during the adventure. One player may use it for the duration of the adventure. At the end of the adventure, the selection made by the players from the treasure bundles is what they walk away from the adventure with. If the player using the found magic item doesn't pick the bundle with that item, it is removed from his inventory at the end of the adventure.

And if I understand it correctly, a character may only ever choose one magic item per level?

So if player gets a +1 sword in one game, the next game if he's still the same level, he must choose the gold reward instead?

Seems like a question for the LFR FAQ on those boards ;)
