Hi.......I'll ask a few questions about the May Game Day.

1st - when ( a date ) can I ( I'll ) scheduled (agend) my May -D&D Game Day ??
when I try to schedule it , appears this mensage : "This event must be scheduled on one of these days:" and nothink like a day.

2nd - If I sanction(register) NOW a May D&D Game Day ..... Will I recieve in my mail the Kits for playing ??(and DCI or RPGA membership cards)?? How it works..(I mean.. how many days early I have to register the event to recieve the kits..)....and..If they don't arrive(come) to me until the event date...can I make the adventure download like in the Sanctioning system ?? ( for play we don't need the "minis"... we need only the adventure and the RPGA cards).

3rd - There is a "minimun" of players to make a Game Day ?? ...There is a doc(pdf) with this information??? where I cand find?

that's all for now.:P

The Monster Manual 2 Game Day is 23rd May 2009. You can only sanction the event for that day.

When you sanction the event the system will ask you how many players you expect. A legal RPGA table is between four and six players plus one GM, so you will need at least five people (four players). The Game Day will come with five pre-generated PCs.

Please note that the event must be run in a public location and be open to the public.

Once you have sanctioned the event, there will be a file available in your 'My Events' listing which will enable you to download and print out the adventure and PCs. Depending on your real-world location, you may or may not receive a physical pack. If you do receive it, I would not expect it to arrive more than a few days before the event.

It would help those of us here to help guide you through the system if you put your location in your profile. We may be able to put you in touch with other people close to you who have some experience in the system. It may also be that access to the Game Day kits will be via the Wizards of the Coast distributor rather than receiving kits directly from Wizards (which is how it works in the United Kingdom.)

If you do not have enough blank DCI membership cards, contact the Wizards/DCI office. There is a list of email addresses here: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dci/wpn/levels and other contact information linked from here: http://ww2.wizards.com/Company/info/default.aspx

Alternatively, find a local games shop which runs Magic: The Gathering tournament as they are likely to have spare cards they can give you.

I hope that helps!

It is a specific day, May 23rd, 2009.

It's already selected on the screen you posted.

You cannot run this event on any other day.

Hmm... Could be the system is broken.

I know they're still messing around with the database.

Maybe wait a day or so?

You modify the date away from the only legal date May 23rd to an illegal date May 22nd. This is your problem.

Leave the date at May 23.

And now I'm waiting for download the adventure.

Just a guess...as the May Game Day is still over a month off, the adventure may not be ready yet.

No, the adventure is there and can be downloaded. I think this is (as someone else guessed) an issue with the Latin American region. (Lo siento, amigo! - sorry, never learned Portuguese, I'm Colombian, living in the US)

I guess not , because , I have a Herald GM friend ( here in my town of 450,000 habitants/people ) and the have schedule to a May D&D Game Day in the same day as I'm , but for him the adventure download link appears.... Only for me not
So i guess that is not ONLY a regional problem.

BTW , my frind send me the adventure files ...but I want to fix my system error.

Customer service, now contactable via http://wizards.com/customerservice claim to aim for a two-day response time.

It may have been a bit longer than that for you, but I'd give it another week or so. If you've not had a response by then, I'd update the question you've sent them in the system asking for an update.

/agree

You *can* also contact Customer Service by phone. I've never done so, but I understand the wait time to be about 5-10 minutes.

They have weekend hours now, and I'm actually planning on calling today, because I have a sanctioning issue on my account tied to the Game Day event that won't let me sanction anything new (that's what I get for being VCL and trying to test various methods of ordering, I guess).

The customer service number is:
US/Canada: (800) 324-6496
Other countries: (425) 204-8069

They're open weekends from 10am to 4pm Pacific Time. (GMT -8).
