| #1calanarFeb 28, 2009 22:54:44 | I joined the RPGA within the first couple of years of its forming but now cannot find my old membership card. Is there a way to recover the old data/number. And, would it matter if I did? Do I need to find an event and reapply? have the rolls been purged in the past or should I still be on them? Any information anyone can provide would be awesome. Thank you. - Michael Tenery. |
| #2UnmakerMar 01, 2009 1:33:06 | I myself recovered an *ancient* RPGA membership a few months ago, so it would appear that the rolls have not been purge. I found my old number, however - I don't know if they could recover a membership without having the number. -Unmaker |

If you have anything with your old number on it, that number will still be tied to a useable account, however you'll need to add 100,000,000 to your number to make it work now that the DCI/RPGA databases have been merged. This means if your old RPGA number was 1234, your "new" number is 100001234. That said, if you don't have the number itself, but are looking to get back into the RPGA, you can contact Customer Service for more help. Customer Service is available at www.wizards.com/customerservice. Let them know you're looking for your old RPGA number, and give them your name, and some other identifying information from back when you were using that account (address at the time, phone number, e-mail address, something identifiable). They usually get back to you in a few days and tend to have a decent success rate at finding accounts that way. ![]() Hope that helps! |

Well, a friend of mine joined the RPGA around 1981, and then did *nothing* with his membership until 2001...and they were able to find and reactivate his number at that point. |
