Hi folks, sorry if this is a silly question, but I'm new to all of this...
I've figured out how to sanction my private D&D game, order new membership cards for my players, and even report the game with all of their newly distributed member IDs.

What I can't figure out, is what I'm supposed to do with the players' contact information (that top part fo the membership form. Part of the form seems to be in postcard form... but I think that's just for sending in the parental consent signature (not needed for any of my players).

Am I supposed to mail those card somewhere? Or is filling out their names in the reporting form enough, and they're responsible for updating their contact information online when they first sign in?

Thanks for any info,
-Ian

Both halves get mailed in. Rip the membership card off at perforation and give to player. Fold the other two halves together and tape. It's already addressed so put a stamp on and drop it in a mailbox.

If you have several cards to send in you can save some money by putting them all in an addressed envelope, so you don't need a stamp for each card.

Do you need to mail these in if the players activate their cards online?

It is still requested/recommended that you mail them in, yes.

How did you get the cards for them? The suggested route of is to sanction a Magic event as far as I can tell and I am not able to do that (being only a D&D Herald).

The Game Day kits came with a handful (8? 10?) cards, and more can be ordered by contacting Customer Service ( http://www.wizards.com/customerservice )
