This upcoming weekend, my friends and I maybe be playing a RPGA Home (Private, or whatever) game.

But there is a problem. Maybe.

Our schedules conflict a lot, and I like to have some time to download the adventure, print it, read it, etc...

How bad is it to cancel events? Is there a reschedule option? Can I download the adventures before I decide to run it?

Thanks.

As far as I know, it's not at all bad to cancel events. From what I can tell, that information isn't tracked. The WPN information requires you to have a low 'delinquent event' rating, but that simply means making sure you report events in a timely fashion (the rule used to be within eight days, but I don't know if that's still the case).

There isn't a reschedule option as such - you'd have to create a new event on the new day - but there's no real problem here: create the event (as it's private, only you'll know it's there anyway), read the adventures, and prepare. If it is clear that it isn't going to happen you may be able to cancel the event ahead of time by ticking a tick-box in 'My Events', but that may not be working at the moment. On the day the event is due to happen you may be able to mark it as 'Did not occur' by ticking a box in 'My Events', if it's there, or by choosing 'cancel' from the options in 'Event Reporting'.

Of course, there may be system issues which get in the way of this, but that's how things are meant to work!
