The thing is that retail event doesn't have a description anywhere outside of "its held at a retail store location" Does the 4 to 6 table size still stand? Unfortunately I will be only GM that I know of there. I have no backup and no idea of how many will show up. Don't think it will be too many but no way of knowing. I know I can run up to 8 people at a time, but it can get a little hectic. Outside of that is there any other rules I should know about doing a retail event. Checked as best as I could but didn't find anything. |

All RPGA tables have a limit of 4-6 players (plus the GM running the table), this is reinforced by the tracking forms only having 6 player slots, and the reporting database only having room for 6 players (and this database tracks who's played what mods for credit, and for getting RPGA Rewards points). Beyond that, the only "special" rules for retail sanctioning that I can think of is that you need to order the event 14 days in advance (instead of 5 days like you can with home games). The rest of the RPGA Rules are all the same. If you're worried about too many people showing up, I suggest taking advantage of some form of pre-registration for your event(s). Either an in-store sign-up sheet, or if they have their own online forums, using that as a way to track interest. ![]() |
