| #1nielsonjJun 25, 2009 22:47:34 | is there a place to down load old 4e RPGA adventures. I have Treasure of Talon pass, but know there are others they have done like dark secrets of downshadow, shades of the zhentarim, etc. Thanks. |

Any module downloaded should be a module you intend to run (or have someone run) as part of RPGA play. Once a module is retired from play, it ceases to be available and is no longer valid for play. Thems the rules. I agree that it can be fun to have a library of old RPGA mods and to use them for home campaign ideas, etc. However, the RPGA and WotC has to protect its intellectual property, its contracts with authors, and its emphasis on current areas of play. Personally, I use this as more impetus to play/run a lot so you have all the current mods should you ever want them in the future. |

We have went through the Shadowfell module and are in the Thunderspire right now. Can we run some of the RPGA adventures then? You (or the store owner) could certainly select LFR adventures to run at the store instead of those other WotC modules. If you order LFR adventures, you really should run them as official RPGA play. |

Do I have to sanction the event to get credit for it or can I get credit for DMing even if the store owner sanctioned the event? I have taken the GM test and am a herald. As far as I can tell, the listing of games played (along with the other players) doesn't include a list of games GMed. I don't know why, but this was quite a recent addition in any case. To see if you are getting credit, click 'My Rewards' on the right-hand menu. The entry under 'Activity Reward' should increase by one every time a game you GM is reported. If you don't have that link, or don't see any data there, follow the link above to sign up for the rewards programme. |

Like aren't there special rules for LRF game, etc? |

Yes, if you're running an LFR game, there is a particular set of rules you need to follow for character creation, advancement, etc. You also need to run the adventure more-or-less as written (i.e., you can't substantially change the adventure, you can't modify the XP or awards, etc.) Most, if not all, of the relevant info is in the RPGA Character Creation Guide; there is also some information in the front section of any LFR adventure PDF that will be helpful. |
