I have a few questions about the Delves and what counts as a sanctioned event.

Can all the encounters for the months Delve be ran in one session and count, insted of breaking them up into one encounter sessions?

We also play at a new store that is getting set up to run Delves and events, we have a weekly saturday game that meets at the store and is open to whoever wants to play. Can this count as an event, we are going through the Keep of the shadowfell and then will move on to the thunderspire labyrinth. Also no homebrew rules or charactures. If the store sets this up as an event will it count or do we have to play the Delves and other content that is set up for the RPGA?

Thank you

We're all happy to try and answer your questions.

I haven't tried to do this myself just yet, but I think it could be done. You would just enter four "Tables" of play into the reporting system to show that you ran those slots.

The DCI system will still re-sanction you for Delves the rest of the month (it auto-sanctions weekly for the month you have a delve ordered), but you should be able to cancel those additional sessions .

We also play at a new store that is getting set up to run Delves and events, we have a weekly saturday game that meets at the store and is open to whoever wants to play. As noted early on in the CCG, you can setup any D&D session (including your own "homebrew" games if you wanted) for RPGA credit. The only stipulations are that if they're run under the RPGA banner and available to the publc:
if you make your game a RPGA sanctioned public event, meaning different players can rotate in and out of your sessions, you need to use two rules presented here: characters use Method 1 or 2 for ability scores and characters have use of RPGA Rewards cards (see below). The rest is up to you.
You can download the RPGA Character Creation Guide here: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=rpga/downloads

To setup this up you'd sanction it as a "D&D Campain (Other)" in the ordering system. There's a great pictorial guide up in the LFR FAQ that will help explain this. (See the top of this forum).

Thank you

Thank YOU for helping introduce more players to D&D and the RPGA.

Thanks for the Info Wolfstar.

I was reading through the FAQ and went through your how to set up an event. So on step 6 we would set it up with retail store, then other on the module?
Thanks again!

Yes - provided that you want your event to be advertised publicly (by seleting Retail your event will be added to the event calendar and can be found by searching through that little tool that's now on the main D&D pages).

Note: In order to set an event up as Retail, you will need to have a sanctioned retail location approved for you by dci@wizards.com.

It is fairly easy to get them to add one, especially if it is a venue that they already have for other events/organizers.

All you do is email the DCI address above with your RPGA/DCI number, the type of event(s) you will be running, and the name and address/phone for the retail location.

I am hoping, for my sake, that when my retail location moves (next month, I think), that they update all organizers/judges who have that location in their list...
