My wife and I attended the gaming convention over Labor Day in Los Angeles. We spent most of our time playing in the RPGA room. The Quality of the GM' s was great and the overall experience was wonderful for both of us. Everyone was helpful and undestanding of our ignorence of 4.0. My wife had been hesitant about getting back involved in D&D after time away and now she is excited and looking for more events.
The bottom line is that we had a great time because of all those who worked so hard to make it happen.

It was a fun con and everyone was great to game with. There are several LFR groups in LA and OC. In OC (Fullerton/Anaheim area) there are several groups that meet on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights.
