It seems that the only other way I can find out is by sanctioning the event, which I don't want to do unless I'm sure that I have enough time to run it. |

It was published as a 4th Edition preview and sort of fell sideways into the LFR module ordering system. There is no way to properly report any XP/gold/items gained by the characters. Also, because it is not a recognized LFR module, any character that gains XP through this module ceases to be LFR legal. All that said, the module is still designed to be played in roughly four hours using 5th level characters (pregens provided) and if you report the event the players will gain reward points like normal, even if they gain no character rewards. If you are looking for an unusual adventure to run, try the Barrow of the Ogre King adaptation for first level players. It takes 5- 6 hours to play through and is a blast. |

It may worth noting that this was posted in RPGA general, so the information about it being not LFR is potentially tangental and useless. While the module is designed for play in a 4-hour slot my experience was that it took longer than that in practice. It's a vicious, combat intensive module that's actually pretty challenging just because of the way it's set up. There's little to no actual roleplaying involved, as it was written as a sort of demonstration of the 4th edition combat rules. I ran a group through it before LFR launched and they made it about halfway through in the time they had for it, but individual groups may vary. Certainly, though, the suggestion to try a different module is worthwhile, under the circumstances. |

I really enjoyed running this mod and the combats can be very challenging if the DM run's them corretly. As one poster mentioned there is no roleplay except for a paragraph for background info. If you have an experience 4e group that brings there own characters the figure on 4.5 hours. If this is a new group and you are using the pre-gen's then I would count on atleast 6 hours to complete. |

This was with experienced players but with 5th level characters they created specifically for the event. I would add 1/2 hour for each additional person. NOTE: The pre-generated characters are gimped -- especially the Cleric -- so be careful if you use them. |

Page 15 reads, "The areas deeper in the dungeon will be covered in a future adventure." Not a big deal, just curious. I thought Return to the Moathouse is a great adventure. |
