| #1DonAdamAug 22, 2008 9:42:45 | So I got an RPGA card at Gencon, and I would like to try to log in. Maybe I'm just not in the system yet, or it has something to do with the switchover, but I can find neither a default password nor an "activation number." Any help? |

If you just got signed up at GenCon, I'd wait a little longer as I think they were still working on getting the database ready for the massive influx of new numbers we saw at the show. Give it another week at least for that. ![]() |
| #3argent_mantleSep 07, 2008 13:06:22 | Well... any other ideas for those of us who registered at Gen Con? Or should we continue to wait? |
| #4_Mithreinmaethor_Sep 07, 2008 14:53:30 | WA98055 has worked for everyone I have ever issued a card to. Please type it exactly as you see it. now wa98055 but WA98055 |
| #5WolfStar76Sep 07, 2008 16:30:42 | Well... any other ideas for those of us who registered at Gen Con? Keep trying it. You can also contact WPN (dci@wizards.com) to see fi your number is active yet, and/or if there's an anticpated completion date, or if you can activate your number sooner in any way. |
| #6siliconroseSep 07, 2008 19:41:49 | I tried contacting dci@wizards.com, and got this back: "Hello, Thank you for contacting dci@wizards.com. This email is monitored for those interested in organizing DCI events as part of the Wizards Organized Play Network and for people interested in becoming a DCI Tournament Organizer. ... If you are writing for assistance with your DCI number, Magic Player Rewards, or any other issue not related to the Wizards Organized Play Network, please note that these questions are answered through the Wizards of the Coast Knowledge Base, located at http://www.wizards.com/customerservice. If the Knowledge Base does not have the answer to your question, you can use the Knowledge Base to contact Customer Service. They will answer your questions, or forward it to the appropriate Wizards of the Coast department." ~sigh~ |

Also worth noting is that that's pretty much an immediate computer-generated response, and may not be the last communication you'll get from them on that. Unfortunately the best advice at this time is to be patient. |
| #8WolfStar76Sep 07, 2008 19:53:03 | I tried contacting dci@wizards.com, and got this back: Don't worry. That's their version of a "we got your e-mail" auto-responder. Tomorrow-ish you'll get a live human reply. |
