Where do you join?

Sep 22, 2008 19:45:33 I spent a few minutes searching the boards and the RPGA members page and I cannot find any place that gives info on joining RPGA. Let me rephrase that, I can find a page of membership benefits on the "Become a Member" page, but not a page where I can actually sign up.

I am getting several dead pages for the Member's Page and the event calendar. Am I missing something incredibly obvious or is the member sign up busted?

Sep 22, 2008 20:35:43 The links in the forum are broken. If you're looking for the Event Calendar, you can find it here: http://webapp.wizards.com/tournaments.aspx?brandid=3. Unfortunately, the only way you can sign up is to attend an event and fill out a membership application. I suggest getting a DCI card with a scratch-off code instead of an RPGA card if possible, as the code allows you to enable your web account immediately instead of waiting.

How do I become a member?

Becoming a member is as easy as finding an RPGA session near you, or at a convention, and sitting down to play. You'll be handed a membership card when you sit down, and just like that, you're one of us.

If you're having a hard time finding games near you, please try checking our event calendar.

Nothing near you, but you still want to join and possibly run events yourself? We can help you out there too. Just send an e-mail to your local DCI office and let them know you want to join the RPGA, but need a membership card to do so. Give them your name and address, and a card will be dropped in the mail to you.
