Alas, I live in a smaller area currently where the local friendly gaming shop is closed indefinitely. There does seem to be interest here, but no location. Anyone have any ideas about alternate areas to play?

Your local library may also have meeting rooms that people can rent out. If anyone in your group is a college student, that's often a way in to getting meeting space for low (or no) cost at the college.
