I saw a reference to development on the Wizards Event Reporter that will allow it to be used to sanction and record for LFR RPGA events.  Is there any information confirming this feature and mentioning a release date?

The WPN website is very "clicky" and time consuming to use, with the biggest slowdown being the entry of DCI numbers every week.

It can be used for that now. Except for the questions part. AFAICT it only allows reporting of tables and their players/GMs.

ETA: Oh, and yes, the fact that it remembers people and I can just click through and select past players to put into the event is a huuuuuuuuuge win for me.

It can currently only create or report WPN Public Play events. I'm using it for D&D Encounters (no adventure questions!) though the latest update had some reference to 'answering blurb questions'. I've not recently run a WPN LFR event so I've not been able to check that yet.

Ah. Well I created the DDE events online and just call them up in the WER now. I never tried creating the DDE events in WER itself. *shrug* oh well.

The other unfortunate thing about it is that all the LFR mods show up in the program database in order of release and you can't sort it.  So it can be a bear to find the mod you want.

This is great news.  I will check it out.  Since I have heard that data from the survery questions don't get used, no big loss

Last I heard those questions are used, in aggregate, to set a path for future adventures.

I'll follow-up with the Global Admins, however.

Yes, that is the intent of the questions.

Then you might want to ask WotC to fix/change their Event Reporting software so that it can take in the questions as well.

Because right now, for conventions, that tool is the bomb. No way I want to going back to hand entry on the website.
