Hello...
Im an old Herald, but i was out of "buissnes" for a couple of years and now i restored my membership. I didn't host any events before.
Now im just confused, a lot of things are not well explained, and some things are just missing, maybe the reason i gave up last time...

The first thing I want to ask is how can i register new players online ?
((they got a RPGA membership card from me, which i recieved from Wizards))

And the second is: are Herald and Master GM membership cards the same or different ? ((im about to order more blank membership cards and my card so im wondering should i wait until i pass Master test))

THANK YOU very much for your answers in advance....

You can either have them use the WPN registration link online, or use the RPGA cards you gave them. Note that if thiose are older RPGA cards, with less than 10 digits in the membership number, that they won't work.

With the WPN registration, it mighttake a few days, but they should receive an email with their number, and the defaults to sign into the member area. With the cards, they have to mail in the postcard, and it can take 3-4 weeks (or more, if there is still backlog from GenCon) to get the information entered.

However, once you know their numbers, you can still report the event, it just takes a bit more effort on the GM's part, and has a slight risk of making a mess if they play more than a single character to begin with.

On the Herald vs Master GM cards, you have no need to order them, when you log in, there is a link in your ink section that pulls up the graphic for the card you qualify for. The main difference, other than prestige, is that one card says "Herald" and the other says "Master". I don't recall off-hand whether the background image is the same or not. Probably not.

Ok thank you, so it is much faster and easier to register them through WPN and it saves money too (i dont have to send the applications via mail)...if i got it right ?

Can they request their Membership cards to be sent when they register via WPN ?

Thanks for the help....

Once they log in to the DCI/RPGA web site, one of the first things they should see is an electronic version of their membership card.

Myself, I printed it out to be a comfortable size, and used one of those lamination kits to put it into plastic and firm it up. I actually used a luggage tag kit, so it has a bag tag, too.
