Has anyone here played successful a campaign of this?

My group has tried but it diddn't work out well in the end. I think it was because the DM stuck too closely to the original Evangelion story so we all knew what was up with a bunch of things we shouldn't.

Anyone got advice on running a good AdEva campaign?

I currently had an idea to take inspiration off the Slavation War tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheS... since that way there could be some cool reveals and intricate plots.

For anyone curious Adeptus Evangelion is based off the Dark Heresy ruleset (which is a very good ruleset I must say) and is designed to allow a capaign in the Neon Genesis Evangelion world. Including the slow decent into madness that comes from being neurally linked with an unholy combination of flesh and steel (and having your conciousness gradually disolved by it) then sent off to fight eldritch abominations. Its a free mod and can be found here.
