#1 BerserkerBeastbuster Oct 04, 2009 11:38:22	Hello, I've got player's guide of Faerûn, and it mentions a short description of Portal View on page 97. it says :Turns target portal transparent. it refers to the Underdark-book. Must I buy this Und-book if I want to read the complete version of the spell? properties and so? Whack to have a spell list in a book, and then to find I must buy another book to see what the spell does. could go for the torrents, but still wondering.
#2 Airos Oct 18, 2009 0:41:10	Yup, buying a copy of Underdark would the be only legal way to obtain a copy of that spell. I'm not sure of the legality of certain consolidated lists that some people may or may not point you in the direction of, since it contains information that is not OGL. I am personally choosing not to name the site, since it could potentally get me in trouble. If you were to figure out the word that is both a type of gem and a type of glassware, and put that next to a word that is a type of castle, you might be able to find something on google.
#3 mthope713 Oct 19, 2009 10:35:56	The Underdark book expands the description to make it clear that you can see through the portal while those on the other side cannot, and it does not open the portal.  the casting time is 10 minutes, it lasts for 1 minute per level, has a range of 25 feet plus 5 per every 2 levels, components of V, S, F/DF, and has an Arcane focus of a glass eye. I hope that Wizards will not punish me since they no longer publish the book and as a result it has become hard to find and buy.  Though I have given you a description of the spell you asked about I would recommend buying the book if you can find it at a reasonable price.  I own it and I think it adds some interesting new spells, magic items, and even a few interesting new feats.  There is more interesting stuff.  You can preview it on Amazon.com.
