Has anyone looked at converting the DreamBlade minis into D20? I've looked at the following article, but it didn't really give much guidance on conversion beyond finding a similar creature in the Monster Manual:

I've gone through the forums and google and didn't find anything along the lines of a conversion.

I had the same thought. I'm running a game this week and I wanted to use my thunder sultan figs, but I had to make my own stats for 'em. Check it.

Possessions 2 +1 shocking war sickles, headband of shielding +4
---------------------
Steward of Indra (Ex): As creations of and servitors of Indra, goddess of storms, a thunder sultan can use control weather at a fraction of the time it takes a normal spellcaster. As a full-round action a thunder sultan can call forth or manifest weather conditions (as opposed to 10 minutes for each). Thunder sultans often keep a constant thunderstorm in their presence, to make better use of their call lightning storm ability to deal 5d10 points of damage, rather than 5d6. See thunderstorm on page 94 of the DMG.

Improved Grab (Ex): If a thunder sultan hits with its war sickle or its slam attack, it deals normal damage for the attack and can attempt to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity. No initial touch attack is required. A thunder sultan can only use improved grab on a target of medium size or smaller. When a thunder sultan gets a hold after an improved grab attack, it pulls the opponent into its space. This act does not provoke attacks of opportunity. It can even move (possibly carrying away the opponent), provided it can drag the opponent’s weight.

The thunder sultan has the option to conduct the grapple normally, or simply use both of its twin trunks to attempt to hold the opponent. If it chooses to do the latter, it takes a –10 penalty on grapple checks (rather than the standard -20), but is not considered grappled itself; the thunder sultan does not lose its Dexterity bonus to AC, still threatens an area, and can use its remaining attacks against other opponents. A successful hold does not deal any extra damage, but each successful grapple check it makes during successive rounds automatically deals damage as if from a gore attack.

Trample (Ex): As a full-round action, a thunder sultan can move up to twice its speed and literally run over any opponents at least one size category smaller than itself. A thunder sultan cannot trample while flying. A trample attack deals 1d8+13 points of damage. Trampled opponents can attempt attacks of opportunity, but these take a –4 penalty. If they do not make attacks of opportunity, trampled opponents can attempt Reflex saves (DC 29) to take half damage. A trampling creature can only deal trampling damage to each target once per round, no matter how many times its movement takes it over a target creature. See trample on page 316 of the MM for details on positioning during a trample attack.
---------------------

The build provides for a lot of maneuvers and combos - grapple, fly away, drop; grapple, plane shift; grapple, fly away, gore gore gore while calling lighting on the other PCs (is that one legal?).

I'm kind of unsure about the CR; building monsters isn't one of my strengths.

Love it! I'll have to review it some more, but on first glance, looks fun.

Not to be out done, here is a link to my D20 Octorilla:

After looking at your Thunder Sultan, you made him more powerful than I would have. But there's nothing wrong with that at all. I probably wouldn't have linked him so strongly to Indra, but that's the beauty of this conversion - you make it work for your campaign. I tend to run lower level campaigns, so would have scaled him down to like a CR 5 or 6, although 8 or 9 isn't out of the question.

At the time I was running a 15th+ level campaign, so I needed some heavy hitters. I don't deny that as a pure Dreamblade-to-D&D conversion, this is somewhat lacking.

EDIT: Incidentally, aside from your octorilla, do you know of any other conversions from DB to d20?

2nd EDIT: I just found this on WotC. Some good ones in there!
