| #1GamingGormanApr 09, 2012 2:52:04 | Hi there, I represent a small team of people who are hard at work at an RPG system that we believe is RPG gold, you can build the character you want to play with no constraints, and the game is intended to be easily managed by game masters. We are players before designers, and we hope that we have made a game you want to play! Oh and its going to be 100% free and supported with expansion modules after release. If you are interested, please visit our website and forum, and spread the word. freedomnexus.webs.com/index.htm Some of you have probably seen me around the the 4th edition boards, That was my game choice untill awhile ago, I really hate posts like this, but honestly I want as many people to hear about this project as possible, because we want people to play it, and enjoy it, we started this as a system for ourselves, but it once we realized that we hit something good, we had to share it. |

I hope you do really well with, Freedom Nexus. I'm looking forward to checking it out when it comes out. It's really decent of you to put it up for free. I design RPGs myself, so I know it's a lot of work. It's great you have a few helping hands to put this together. I've always had to do things pretty much on my own (and with the fine support of people here on the 4e Forums and elsewhere). I'd love to network with you guys, if possible. We seem to share the same kinds of ideas and ideals. I also put out my game system for free because I'd rather see it in the hands of gamers who will enjoy and cherish it than make a lot of money (preferably both, ha ha). I also like your approach to the system itself. Challenger works on a point-buy level system, as well, and emphasizes ease and speed of play, role-playing, and player choice when building a character (there are a 'lot' of options in Challenger). I'm currently getting 10K+ downloads on Amazon.com, someone bought an e-book copy in Germany for $10, and the print edition of the game just came out. If it wasn't for the kind help, support, and playtesting of the fine people here on the 4e forums (and elsewhere) it wouldn't have been possible. If you'd care to swap ideas/game design stories please feel free to send me an e-mail to: challenger_rpg@hotmail.com. Also, I'd love to know when Freedom Nexus comes out! Best Regards, David. |
