So it's been a while, well over a year since I've done any roleplaying, and I'm starting to wonder if my roleplaying days are over.
There are a lot of people whom play LARP, and I gave that a shot for a while, but found it's really not my thing.
It seems like there's almost no one where I live that plays table top RPGs, the two groups I used to game with have parted ways, mainly because people have moved, or because of schedule conflicts. Anyone else find themselves in the same sort of situation?

I have a similar problem. I haven't played in several years now because people are just not around anymore. The last game I played effectively was a Rifts game with people over the internet. Looks like the internet will probably be the best place to look for games at this point. Best with a voice over program as typing takes a lot longer than talking.

Find a group of people and start your own. My friend and I left our main group (mainly because of the drive time). We advertised in the local game shop and on some email sites and had a full game of 8 within a month.
Gamers are out there if you want to game bad enough...

Craigslist is how I found mine... I got a friend out of it and introduced him to DnD. A passing comment about it to a guy I work with recruited him. And for ***** and giggles, I roped my wife into playing as well.

Edit: Apparently this site has some pretty decent word filters... >_>;
