Hey guys I've been personally messing around with PF alot (you may have seen a few of my build threads) and my players want to do a trial run of the system (4e is nice but its a little to restricting) but we want to keep story continuity so we want to keep the characters similar to their 4e forms so instead of having a bunch of people who barely understand the rules spend hours trying to find a specific archetype that works for the character. So yeah the focus here is fulfilling the flavour, not optimization...but of course both is best, oh and we'd like to try to avoid using 3.5 stuff as that is likely our next system to test if PF doesn't work out (5e will be too but its not ready yet) Anyways I'll list off the characters, their general personality and possible ideas 1. A Hyper curious (gets the party in tons of trouble) Pixie Ardent - She loves psionics and loves been "The Healer" so were thinking "Vitalist" but we need to make a pixie race...is there any similar races in PF? 2. A Thri-kreen fighter that shape-changes into a bear - On possibilities is a Bear Shaman Druid but he doesn't really want a "Tree-hugging spellcaster" (his words not mine :P)...this player isn't the greatest roleplayer so there's not much personality he mostly just growls alot :P He also wants to be good a killing dragons. Does a Thri-kreen exist in PF? 3. A Tiefling Paladin "Tank" - Basically a prince hes a bit full of himself but will do anything to keep others from harm. At the moment were just looking at Pure Paladin but could use some suggestion on prestige class, archetypes or multi-classes...oh and he likes fire powers...not sure if a Paladin can access that but it can't hurt to ask eh? 4. A Shadar-Kai Sorc - She is really quite emo and incredibly ugly Sorceror but isn't touchy about it, IIRC she has intimidate and she says something along the lines of i throw my ugly at them whenever she uses it...need some bloodline suggestions and is there a Shadar-Kai like race in PF? 5. An Elven TWF Rogue - The class is very flexible basically as long as it has sneak attack and can use ranged weapons it will suit the character...speaking of which the character itself was cursed with immortality...I don't mean he can't die but if he does die he gets reborn in a different random realm/time I don't know how to reflect this mechanically but feel free to make suggestions...he's been looking at the classes and he likes the Ranger (Trapper), Gunslinger and Shadowdancer. 6. A Succubus (tiefling) Mage (Illusion/Enchantment focus, some shadow and necro spells) - She hides her identity from the party and tends to look out for herself regardless of the consequences to the rest of the party...the party knows something is fishy but isn't exactly what it is. She runs the underground crime syndicate and intelligence network of a main city in the campaign...is also mistress to the king of the city.
