We are currently using 3.5ed and have no intention of going to 4e. It's not complicated - one has to make a character sheet upon joining but that's pretty much the only statistics work that goes on - we focus more on the writing/RPing than the stats. It's mostly just fun roleplaying that can be done across the whole continent of Faerun (we also allow RP on other continents, worlds, and planes)! Signing up is easy, and getting your character accepted is a breeze. We allow multiple characters and carefully moniter characters to make sure that they aren't overpowered or overly annoying (Drizzt clones... *sigh*).
