I got an email from Paizo today and it was anouncing a 40 mini randomised set called Pathfinder battles. Not that I play Pathfinder but the pictures looked quite good. Makes me wonder how Paizo can make them and WoTC can't. I probably won't buy any as I gave p buying WoTC pnes in the dying days of 3.5 but they are very pretty.
Can't really fault the minis themselves. If I had a bit more money I may be tempted but I would also have some more 4th ed material as well oh well.

1. These are being sold one figure to a pack, which means they will likely be $3.50 to $5.00 apiece.
2. WotC has made over 1300 sculpts. You can only release a $5 plastic rat so many times before people just don't need anymore.
3. WotC decided to focus more of thier recources on getting new players, as opposed to selling ever more to dedicated players. And the expenses of minis is prohibitive to new players.
