I haven't tried Pathfinder, but I've considered it a few times.  However, one of the things that I think 4E did get right is encounter design.


Is encounter design in Pathfinder the same as 3E - meaning that the typical encounter is one creature of a given CR versus a party or is it more similar to 4E - meaning roughly equal numbers of foes and party members?
