I'm looking for a little inspiration, and this seemed like a good place to ask. In media I'm familiar with, good and evil pretty much take up similar representations across the board: good is generally represented with Norse mythology (particularly valkyrie, which we at some point decided that's how angels looked) and to a lesser extent, Chinese mythology (particularly dragons). Evil is generally represented with Pagan mythology (satyrs) and Visogothic symbolism. My question then would be, what other places of history can I look to for a less cliched representation of good and evil in my art?
