The power must either be used to rock-out or to cause meaningless destruction. It would be helpful if the power was given to him by olaf the god of rock. I am actually using this for a game. |

| #4doomsoughtJun 06, 2008 18:55:37 | They could fit each of the mage archetypes. The blaster (rocks out, thing go boom) Warlock The drummer (... bigger boom) Sorcerer or kineticist(psionic) The key board (illusionist/ utility spells) Illusionist or wizard and of coarse the lead singer (enchanter) Bard Sorry for using D&D references, but those are the better spell caster classes. |
| #5nadakaJun 07, 2008 3:19:19 | The ability to deafen. The ability to turn/rebuke conservatives. Pyrotechnics. The ability to enthrall or dominate others with subliminal messages. Concussive blast. Serpent familiar. A vorpal bite attack. Groupies. Iron veins: "Chemical" resistance through constant exposure. Unless he rolls a natural 1... Exotic weapon proficiency: axe guitar. Light armor proficiency: leather. Aura of perfect hair. Take your pick. |

Among his abilities: -Proficiency with guitar (large, 1d6,) bass (large, 1d6,) microphone and cable (medium, 1d6, trip attack) mic stand, (large double weapon, 1d6/1d6) or drumsticks (light weapon, 1d4.) In the rockstar's hands the weapons have a 0% chance to break. As the rockstar increases in level, the damage increases by a die size, and they gain focus/specialization. -the ability to trade up to a -5 penalty on listen checks for up to a +5 bonus on saves against sonic-based attacks, and also to counter sonic effects. -the ability to attract roadies and groupies, low-level characters to aid the rockstar, similar to the Minions feat. -The ability to store spells in his instrument in a similar fashion to the technomage. The rockstar needs to succeed the applicable perform check in order to cast the spell. The DC is determined by the spell level, the caster level, and the number of spells stored in the guitar. -the ability to lengthen some spells with an ability called 'extended set.' The rockstar would make progressively harder perform checks each round, and as long as he was successful, the spell would not end. -periodic increases in wealth and reputation due to endorsement deals, and so forth. I considered a 'bad boy image' ability that functioned like the Secret Identity feat. |
