Hello, hello. I'm writing a paper on the point at which someone becomes their character when they are playing a table-top RPG. When are you speaking as yourself, and when are you speaking as your character? When does the DM address you as such? do you call each other by character names or real names? These have all differed greatly in the groups I've played with, so I was wondering what you guys thought. Where is that line drawn for you?  Any response would be appreciated. Cheers.
