#1 MickeySmith Mar 23, 2015 15:31:18	My question is in regard to timing during a turn and how to resolve actions.   An attack is considered an action.  At higher levels you get extra attack.  My question is, the extra attack does it become a separate action during your turn or do you have to immeditately take this extra attack after the first is taken?  Are you allowed to move after the first attack then take the extra attack after the movement?   Can you take a bonus action in between the first attack and the extra attack?   If you decide to hold your action on your turn do you get the extra attack along with the attack you saved?     If says in the rules that when your held action is triggered the enemy can finish the action it started.  Would an extra attack be considered part of the first attack or is it interrupted after the first attack before it can get off a multiple attack?
#2 strider13x Mar 23, 2015 16:13:49	Extra Attack happens when you take the Attack action, therefore you may move between extra attacks, and depending on the Bonus Action wording the Bonus action could happen at anytime during that move/attack.   As far as holding an action you are looking at "Ready", and it says you choose which action to take in response to the trigger. If that action is Attack, then you should get theExtra Attacks.   As to the last question, if you use your reaction due to Ready then your attacks happen before the targets actions. I see no other reference that stops the target from acting (unless you reduced its HP to 0).

#9 Coredump00 Mar 24, 2015 6:24:42	You still are not following....   Read the Extra Attack ability.  It *only* works on your turn...     Ready says you ready an action, it does not say you ready an attack, you ready an action.  The Attack Action is one possible action you can ready. But Extra Attack *still* doesn't work, since it *only* applies on your turn....
#10 jaelis Mar 24, 2015 6:39:40	Coredump is correct, you can ready an action, so you can ready the attack action. This lets you take the attack action when it isn't your turn.   But you can't benefit from extra attack because it only works when you take the attack action on your turn.   If there were some other bonus you got with the attack action which wasn't restricted to your turn, then you could benefit from that using ready.
