Arcane Trickster Spells Known and Mobile vs. Sentinel

First, I have a 4th level bard and 2nd level rogue.  I am going to take a 3rd level of rogue and choose the arcane trickster archetype.  When I get that 3rd level of rogue, I "know three 1st-level wizard spells of [my] choice".  I would also have 4 1st level slots, 3 2nd level slots, and 2 3rd level slots according to the table on pg. 165 of the phb.  If I were to take a 4th level of rogue I would receive a 4th known spell.  The rule states "The Spells Known column of the Arcane Trickster Spellcasting table shows when you learn more wizard spells of 1st level or higher.  Each of these spells must be an enchantment or illusion spell of your choice, and must be of a level for which you have spell slots." So can that 4th known spell from the rogue level be a 3rd level illusion or enchantment spell from the wizard spell list?  The reason I am confused is because on pg. 53 of the phb, the Spells Known of 1st Level and Higher for a bard states, "The Spells Known column of the Bard table shows when you learn more bard spells of your choice.  Each of these spells must be of a level for which you have spell slots, as shown on the table." That as shown on the table part is the specific part I'm being hung up on.

Second, I have 2 PCs, one with the Sentinel feat, the other with the Mobile feat.  They are within reach of one another in combat (specifically 5ft.).  The character with the Mobile feat attacks the PC with Sentinel feat, thereby triggering the effect "When you make a melee attack against a creature, you don't provoke opportunity attacks from that creature for the rest of the turn, whether you hit or not." and then moves out of reach from the PC with Sentinel feat.  Does this trigger that PC's abilty, "Creatures within 5 feet of you provoke opportunity attacks from you even if they take the Disengage action before leaving your reach", thus allowing them (the PC with the Sentinel feat) an opportunity attack?
