Also I want to play of that he thanks he is a hero but I do not want him to be arrogant how would I do that? Also the bond is kinda weak but i could think of anything else
Personalty -I wish to understand the inner workings of Magic
Ideal -Knowledge. The path to power and self-improvement is through knowledge
Bond -Magic is a force that can make the world a better place
Flaw -My sharp tongue lands me in trouble
Background:Sage:Academic -Feature: Researcher
Life Relationships
Goal-Acquire objects of power or Knowledge

His mother and everybody else has always called him a hero and said he is destined for great things, but he's not sure he really has it in him. He's smart, he loves magic, and due to his insecurity has developed a self-depreciating sarcastic streak to compensate. Aside from the magic, I know many people who fit this personality type, and I bet you do too. I wouldn't call them arrogant. |

He knows he has a special talent - and is perfectly willing to get into Dueling Mandolin contests to demonstrate - but the serious stuff ... he has good reason to believe he's just average at THAT.
My Tiamat group has a Bard who keeps casting Cutting Words on my monsters and using Bardic Inspiration on her friends, so I can't hit the broadside of a barn and her friends can't miss - she's carrying her weight even though she "doesn't actually attack anything". Your character can be much the same; he never lays a hand on a foe, he just helps his friends out with the hard parts.
