Bless, Inspiration, Maneuver Dice on Attacks = Critical ?

The Bless spell, the fighter's maneuver Dice, and the Bard's Inspiration Dice ... all give you a bonus on you Attack Roll. Say you roll a 17 on your d20 to attack, and then roll a 3 or better on your bonus dice to add to your attack roll. Would that be considered a ' 20 ' and therefore a Critical Hit ?

Nope, only 'natural 20s' on a d20 are critical hits. The other dice are only bonuses.

Interesting.. we've been playing that they are criticals, which makes for some high damage encounters I've discovered.. lol

A crit looks like this:

It's not just double damage dice, it's a hit regardless of AC and adjustments. In a typical encounter, you might expect there to be one crit and it adds to the excitement when it happens. It might even be crucial in determining the outcome. You can hit anything with a crit.

It's the end of the session and it's down to the wire. Your character is the last one standing, you are low on hit points but so is the dragon you are fighting. You throw everything you've got left into your final attack, knowing It's you or him. You roll ...
