#1 Rjanag Dec 09, 2014 17:11:41	Say I ready an action to attack a creature when it comes into my reach. I attack it with a halberd and hit, and I have the Polearm Master feat, which allows me to use a bonus action to make another attack when I hit. Can I actually do this? The wording for bonus actions (p. 189) suggests to me that I can only take a bonus action on my turn, and I'm not sure if an action I've readied counts as my turn.

Let's say the bonus action is an off hand attack from two weapon fighting. You would instead attack from 10' away, take you bonus attack and then back up a square. On the targets turn, if they closed to 10' you would get an opportunity attack reaction granted by the feat: " While wielding a glaive, halberd, pike, or quaterstaff, other creatures provoke an opportunity attack when they enter your reach."
#5 bonethug0108 Dec 09, 2014 18:17:33	From what I recall, when you ready an action you are basically readying a reaction. If the trigger never happens and your turn comes back up you can either ready the action again or take your turn as normal. So you keep your turn in the initiative order even when readying.

#17 Vulf Jul 19, 2015 6:07:15	Just a little food for though, someone mentioned this earlier.   The Peryton's Flyby ability says they do not provoke attacks of opportunity when they LEAVE your reach.   The Polearm Master feat says enemies provoke opportunity attacks when they ENTER your reach.   So it is in fact a great weapon to use to counter Flyby attacks.
