Take for example a druid level 2 with 13 hit point. He wild shape into a brown bear (34 hits points) . The bear take 30 hit point of damage from some hits. The druid choose willingly to revert, and he go back to 13. Right? No damage carry over.
Then the druid take 6 damages in normal form. He is now a 7 hit points.
He wild shape again in brown bear, going back to 34 again, despite of the damage. Right?
The bear take 40 hit of damage from a blast. The revert is automatic, the druid go back to 7 hit points and take 40 - 34 = 6 hits points of damage, the druid is now at 1 hit point. Right? If the bear have take 41 points of damage, the revert would put the druit to 0 hit point and unconsious. Right?
