C h a r g e r
When you use your action to Dash, you can use a
bonus action to make one melee w eapon attack or to
shove a creature.
If you move at least 10 feet in a straight line
immediately before taking this bonus action, you either
gain a +5 bonus to the attack’s damage roll (if you chose
to make a melee attack and hit) or push the target up
to 10 feet away from you (if you chose to shove and
you succeed).

IS this rule part of charger as well

DO i first need to hit with charge then roll vs there ablity

Sh o v in g a C r e a t u r e
Using the Attack action, you can make a special melee
attack to shove a creature, either to knock it prone or
push it away from you. If you’re able to make multiple
attacks with the Attack action, this attack replaces
one o f them.
The target o f your shove must be no more than one
size larger than you, and it must be within your reach.
You make a Strength (Athletics) check contested by the
target’s Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics)
check (the target chooses the ability to use). If you win
the contest, you either knock the target prone or push
it 5 feet away from you.

DO i have it first hit with charge then roll vs there ablitiy to shove them

There is no hit roll needed to shove, the opposed ability check replaces that step.

Yep, you don't have to "hit" to shove with Charger:

  1. Take the "Dash" action
  2. Move at least 10' directly toward your target, stopping right next to the target
  3. Make a "Shove" attack as a bonus action by rolling Strength (Athletics) vs enemy's Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics)
  4. If you win the check, you can Shove the target up to 10' , instead of the usual 5', thanks to the Charger feat
